Meet our newest boy crush, actor Sam Lerner! You may know him as Geoff Schwartz from the hit TV show “The Goldbergs,” which is airing season 5 now. When Lerner isn’t busy on TV, he is snagging roles in feature films. His role in the upcoming horror feature Truth or Dare comes out next year in 2018 and he is starring along side Lucy Hale and Tyler Posey.
We had to catch up with him and of course, he couldn’t help but be funny! We sat down and asked Sam some of our favorite exclusive questions. Check it out!
1) What gets you up in the morning?
The gym gets me up in the morning. I always try to work out before I start the day and just get it over with. Oh yeah, and 76 coffees.
2) My biggest virtue:
Finding the lightness.
3) Biggest vice:
I seriously drink like 76 coffees per day…I think my insides are just acid.
4) Do you have a party trick?
I do an awful British accent that can usually get a laugh out of an entire group…it’s pretty chill
5) How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as a little better version of Turtle from Entourage. I’m kidding, but I do dig the whole athleisure thing. I really love a good sweat suit.
6) What would constitute a perfect day for you?
To me, a perfect day starts with breakfast at Gjusta in Venice. Then riding a bike down the Venice boardwalk to the basketball courts in Santa Monica, and playing pick up with my friends. Also, I’m gonna need sushi at some point in this “perfect day”.
7) What would your very last meal entail?
An apple pan burger with cheese fries, a root beer, and a slice of banana cream pie.
8) Three people—dead or alive, real or fictional—that you’d like to invite to dinner?
Martin Scorsese, Larry David, and Kobe Bryant. Yeah…that seems right.
9) Turn ons?
10) Turn offs?
11) Tell us a secret.
I buy way too many shoes.
12) Your favorite quote?
“60% of the time, it works every time” – Brian Fantana
13) An embarrassing moment?
One time I had an audition for one line in a movie, and I didn’t bother studying it because I assumed I could remember one line…the line was “you’re ruining my life.” I get to the audition and they tell me to start and I freeze for 3 seconds and scream “LEAVE ME ALONE!” I didn’t get that job.
14) Your proudest moment?
When I got to act on The Goldbergs alongside my dad…he plays my actual dad on the show. That was cool.
15) Could you tell us more about some of the projects you are working on?
Right now we’re in the middle of Season 5 of The Goldbergs and are already picked up for Season 6! Then I have the Blumhouse horror movie Truth or Darecoming out April 27, 2018, which just got picked up by Universal for a wide release! I’m super excited.
