Actress, dancer and philanthropist Anna Marie Dobbins FOOTLOOSE and CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” stars as the female lead opposite Eric Roberts in upcoming Lifetime thriller feature film STALKED BY MY DOCTOR: PATIENT’S REVENGE, that came out this past summer.
As beautiful on the inside as she as she is on the outside, when Anna Marie is not in front of the camera or in the dance studio, she devotes her spare time to helping children struggling with illness around the world with the Make a Wish Foundation. She also continues to give back to her hometown, mentoring young dance students in Alabama.
We caught up with Anna Marie Dobbins and asked her some of our exclusive
How did you prepare for the role of Melissa in Stalked By My Doctor?
Well it was a very quick turnaround from the date I found out I booked it to the shoot date. It was countless nights of studying Melissa’s background and really diving into who Melissa is.
How did you get involved with the Make a Wish Foundation?
I got involved when I was in college. At my mother’s dance studio, we put on a Make A Wish event for the children and we brought in famous choreographers so they could take from them. It was a heartwarming experience.
Dream concert ticket (any band, any decade)?
Ohh, that’s a hard one, but I would have love to have seen Michael Jackson on stage. I watch This Is It all the time, haha.
