RADIO ON IS REINVENTING 80s MUSIC ON ‘COAST’

Music

May 6, 2016

Inspired by Robyn and Blood Orange, British rock band Radio On makes shimmering synth-pop music. The band actually got their name from the seminal 1979 film by Chris Petit, which is why a slew of European art-house road movies have inspired the band. You can especially hear it on “Coast” where the band finds finds themselves playing with 80s synth rock and pop simultaneously.

“Coast” is hypnotic, catchy and just plain old fun.

Listen below to its premiere.
