Hayley Williams has officially revealed her new hair dye company ‘goodDYEyoung’, with her Nashville-based colorist and close friend, Brian O’Connor, and L’Oréal alum Erik Hoover, general manager for GDY, to bring the collection to market, a process that took four years.

“I’ve never started anything but a band… but a little over 4 years ago, I decided I’d try my hand at starting a hair dye company. I’ve made a lot of mistakes, learned a whole lot of cool business lingo… and realized through trial and error that dying your hair is an art AND a science. It was all worth it to finally be able to tell you that GOOD DYE YOUNG is here, it’s severe, & it’s happening! I can dye happy now!” – Hayley Williams

Good Dye Young, is a vibrant hair-dye line designed for in-home use, and will be pre-sold online beginning April 15, and will feature a color wheel of five fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free shades, priced at $14 each.

Rock Lobster is a bright red; Blue Ruin is a vivid blue; Ex-Girl is a vibrant pink; (red), Steal My Sunshine is a sunny yellow and Riot is a high-octane orange. (Williams said her favorites are Steal My Sunshine and Riot.) We hear that the application instructions are illustrated in cartoons rather than long-winded explanations — FUN.
