Boy Crush: Max Ehrich!

Etc.

May 21, 2019

Meet our new crush Max Ehrich! The cute, sweet, and of course talented actor is in a new Lifetime (Channel) comedy, premiering in June, even the trailer had me laughing out loud by myself. After Max’s character breaks Amanda’s (the lead) heart, she runs away, to what feels like, a different world.
We were thrilled to catch up with Max, our favorite heart throb, at his photo shoot in the Hollywood Hills, and asked him some of our exclusive questions!

Tell us about “American Princess.”

American Princess follows the journey of an Upper East Side socialite, Amanda, who has the ultimate Pinterest wedding plan until she walks in on her fiance, Brett (whom I portray) cheating on her, just hours before the wedding. Rightfully outraged, Amanda runs away and finds herself stranded in the middle of a Renaissance Faire with no phone and no way home. You’ll have to tune in to see how it unfolds.

How are you similar to your character? And how are you different to him?

Similar in the sense that we are both from the tri-state area. He’s from NYC & I was born in NJ and went to high school in NYC. Brett makes mistakes and is one to acknowledge and learn from them which I can relate to. At the heart of it; He’s a good guy. We definitely live different types of lives, though. Brett grew up pretty privileged and I’d say I come from humble beginnings. He’s a 9-5 lawyer. I spend time playing make believe aka acting and making music. I definitely use the more creative side of the brain.

Any funny stories / moments on set / bloopers?

In the last scene that I filmed; My character is having a full blown panic attack. It was a lengthy scene and I definitely feel I lived through the spectrum of emotions. Pretty sure we had to start the scene over a few times because I worked myself into an actual panic. I’m sure it was funny looking from the outside in.
