Meet our latest Popular Girl Nikki Leigh. She can be seen as a lead opposite Denise Richards in the upcoming feature “A Girl Is A Gun”. Later this year, Nikki will be starring as Jessica in the Turkish comedy “Ay Lav Yu Tuu” with Steve Guttenberg. We met up with the Actress and Model to chat all things Nikki. Check out our exclusive one – on – one.

1.What gets you up in the morning?

My little stud! And by stud I mean Kodi the Stud! My sweet 7lb pomeranian. His cute little face gets me up with a smile every morning. I am so thankful for that little guy. He is such a cuddler!

  1. Your biggest virtue?

Patience! I believe that everything happens for a reason and, although we might not understand the reason right away, it requires patience to keep smiling and let the reason unfold so we can quickly find a solution. You can apply patience to just about anything in life. It is important to keep your cool and just breathe. Don’t take life so seriously; try and laugh and see the hilariousness in the situation.

  1. Your biggest vice?

Working out! I love getting up early and working out. It’s one of the ways I get my stress out. I think it’s important to have a way to take the stress off. It also tests you.

  1. Do you have a party trick?

Does touching your nose with your tongue count? Haha! I have a long tongue so showing how long it is usually shocks people.

  1. How would you describe your style?

My style is a great reflection of my mood. Most of the time I’m laidback, casual, and my style is just easy going with jeans and a tee. But sometimes I am feeling extra good and I will dress up with a dress or a noticeably cuter outfit with some vibrant color to reflect my happy mood. If I could choose a way to look all the time it would be rocker style because I love leather and black is the best color to wear! Plus it’s badass and who doesn’t want to feel badass?!

  1. What would constitute a perfect day for you?

Waking up at 5:30am to walk my dog then go to the gym. I’d work out then go to breakfast at an amazing breakfast spot. After that I’d go home to shower and get ready for a day on a boat with Kodi and friends. There is nothing like being out on the water with friends! Then we’d end the day with a nice dinner.

  1. What would your very last meal entail?

Well if it is my last meal then I would have everything I love. Sushi and my mom’s Thanksgiving meal! My mom’s stuffing is to die for! I ask her to make me my own pan each year. That combo might sound interesting but I’m just not sure I could choose between those two so might as well do both. Haha!

  1. Three people—dead or alive, real or fictional—that you’d like to invite to dinner?

Elvis Presley, Cleopatra, and because my Grandma was my best friend and I never got to meet my Grandpa, I’d choose him to be my last dinner guest.

  1. Turn ons?

Intelligence! That to me is first above anything. Some more are athleticism, kindness, generosity, a great smile with great teeth, a guy who is funny and an animal lover. I love when a guy acts like a gentlemen and gets my door, or when he switches spots with me when we walk so that he is on the street side. Oh, and a nice back!

  1. Turn offs?

Bad teeth, being on your phone while we are hanging out or at dinner, insecurity, bad hygiene and laziness.

  1. Tell us a secret.

I used to watch ‘Dirty Dancing’ almost daily when I was a little girl. I was kind of obsessed. Oh, and I loved the caress the armpit move!

  1. Your favorite quote?

“We can complain because rose bushes has thorns, or we can rejoice that thorn bushes have roses.” – Abraham Lincoln

  1. An embarrassing moment?

When I realized that my yoga pants were see-through after my workout class on leg and butt day!

  1. Your proudest moment?

When I was learning Turkish for my Turkish film ‘Ay Luv Yu Tuu’ and the people on set who heard me speak it and run lines thought I was Turkish! Turkish is such a difficult language to learn as well as speak. They have sounds that an English speaker has never heard of or have had to use in their lifetime.

  1. Could you tell us more about some of the projects you are working on?

I’m so excited that I have two projects coming out in the fall! On September 22 I have the Turkish film I mentioned coming out in theaters. I am looking forward to going back to Turkey for the premiere and seeing my Turkish family! My other project that I am very proud of is ‘A Girl Is A Gun’! It will come out on the blackpills app this fall. It is super badass and has a strong message about female empowerment.
