UROK Foundation Charity Benefit

Marvin Scott Jarrett, the founder of the UROK Foundation, and Jaclynn Jarrett, honorary committee member of UROK foundation, hosted a Charity Benefit and Art Auction at the Highlight Room Dream Hotel, to raise awareness for mental health. Maty Noyes and Gabe Roland put on killer performances, and of course, DJ Tiana Verhagen, Popular’s favorite DJ. Gabe Roland, Grammy nominee, had the whole crowd dancing to “City Angel.” Maty Noyes performed 3 of her hit singles “Stay ft. Kygo” “Say it to My Face”, and “In My Mind.” UROK went above and beyond with the art auction. Gary Baseman, Mike Patterson and Pasco the Great donated some amazing pieces of art to the cause. The drinks by Whispering Angel Rosé and Viva32 tequila were very popular. Magnolia Bakery donated their popular cupcakes, which were amazing! Many young talent appeared to show their support, such as, Rene Olstead, Justin Prentice “Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why”, “Typical Psycho” Singer Katie Welch, Supermodel David Bywater, Lexi Atkins, Shoshana Bush, Blain, “Lovely Bones” Andrew James Allen, “So You Think You Can Dance” Jason Williams, Rachel McCord, Social Media Star Hailey Lautenbach as well as many others. Marvin Scott Jarrett gave a moving speech about creating the foundation and what it means to him, he also thanked the honorary committee, Jaclynn Jarrett, John and Lola Debney, Mike Patterson, Siri Garber, Kelly Cultrone, Phoenix Stone, Angela Lindval, Justin Prentice, Scott Lips, Lisa Jam Harris and Shameik Moore. Popular was so excited to be there! The event was a blast, and we were so excited we got to help raise awareness for mental health.
