Nashville-based pop artist Essy is making us miss her missing you.

‘Missing Me Missing You’, the latest of release from the synth pop artist, is filled with techno synths, muted kick drums, and glitter. In an alluring expression of self, this new track serves as a power move to all women.

“Sexuality should be expressed, not suppressed. I want women to feel confident and dance-worthy in their own skin. This song is about owning the beauty and power in being a woman and singing it loudly for those in the back to hear,” the singer explains.

Desperately needing to be played on the outside, Essy’s new track is dance approved as it glistens below the surface. Written and produced alongside Johnluke Lewis (LANY), the new track is the first step towards a new emerging sound for Essy was she’s taken a darker approach to the pop sound since quarantining. This new track is also the first to be released from her upcoming sophomore album to be released at the top of 2021.
