Newcomer RAINEE And Jeff Kale Collide On Soothing Instrumental “where it always rains”
Sep 17, 2021
With a short catalog yet massive long-term potential, RAINEE is slowly but surely building a name for himself within the lo-fi and chill genre. As the musical alias of multifaceted musician Ben Beamish, known as 1/2 of pop duo The Beamish Brothers, RAINEE impressively amassed almost 150k streams on Spotify with his first two releases, “coffee on the roof” and “i’m always cold in the morning,” and has now just returned with “where it always rains,” teaming up with Kenyan musician Jeff Kaale.
Jeff Kaale is widely known for his soothing and relaxing brand of beats, having released six albums since emerging in 2016, while also collaborating with artists from tobi lou to Engelwood. His vibrant style perfectly matches RAINEE’s groovy percussions, snares and guitar licks, as the arrangement constantly moves forward with beautiful yet subtle instrumental additions, making up for a relaxing and nicely-curated listening experience.
