POPULAR GIRL TO WATCH: ALINA BARAZ  

Alina Baraz has low-key been making amazing electropop music over the past two years. After releasing her Urban Flora EP, Sam Smith tweeted how much he loved her sound. Her latest song “Electric” featuring Khalid has been climbing up the charts. The 21-year-old L.A.-based singer first collaborated with electronic artist Galimatas (whom she met via Soundcloud), but then went on to create her own EP. Baraz isn’t afraid to push boundaries with her music, and her spirit is definitely something we admire. Hopefully 2017 will bring more music from the pop chanteuse.
