4. HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY?

I am greatly affected by the weather, and its gorgeous today on this work trip to Miami.

5. WHAT IS POPULAR TO YOU?

Apparently, creative people on Tik Tok.

6. YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT SO FAR:

My proudest moment was a very LONG moment. My 2018 Sun and Moon Tour had me performing in Sweden, Israel, Amsterdam, Prague, Milwaukee, NYC, Los Angeles, Nashville & Denver –  but the highlights of the tour included opening for the winner of Eurovision – Netta in Sweden + being the NBA Denver Nuggets Halftime show performer.

7. FAVORITE SONG ON YOUR NEW ALBUM “LITTLE VICTORY?”

Lately, “Forget You” – I’m filming the music video for it in Miami tomorrow with one of my mother’s art students who is also a shuffle dancer – go check her out: instagram.com/Natalia_amayaa

8. WHAT IS YOUR DREAM MUSICAL DUET OR COLLABORATION?

Robyn, Charlie Puth, Maluma, Calvin Harris.

9. DREAM CONCERT TICKET (ANY BAND, ANY DECADE):

Michael Jackson or Prince!

10. DO YOU HAVE A PARTY TRICK?

My party tricks are always my outfits. I like to go a bit bolder than most… especially in Tennessee.

11. LAST FASHION ITEM PURCHASED:

Le Specs sunglasses and a vintage leather American flag jacket by Michael Hoban.

12. FAVORITE SNEAKERS:

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in the sand taupe color way.

13. FAVORITE BOOK:

“You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay – and the Bible has some solid, timeless advice in it, too.

14. TV ADDICTION:

During 2020, I binge watched Australia’s Love Island. They’re really attractive out there, aren’t they?

15. KARAOKE ANTHEM:

My Country go-to is “I Like It, I Love It” by Tim McGraw, and my pop jam is “I Want it That Way” by Backstreet Boys.

16. WHAT MUSIC DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR SPOTIFY?

Lately “Connected” by Stereo MCs and “The Business” by Tiesto are my go-to songs. “Come Out to the Country” by Daniel Diamond has been a fun one in the car, too.

17. LAST MOVIE WATCHED:

The Labyrinth starring David Bowie – it was my first time seeing it. I’m still shook.

18. TELL US A SECRET.

I spent an hour on Google the other day trying to find photos of me and Britney Spears leaving a club in LA from the mid 2000s and came up empty handed.

19. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO DROP AN ALBUM?

It’s a great feeling – I’m super proud of this album – I wrote the songs between 2018 to 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden, Berlin, Germany and Nashville. It features many of my artist friends in Nashville – Luma, Miss Audrey, Blake Leider, Daisha McBride & Madeline Finn, as well as a gospel choir consisting of Timothy Myles (who plays with me on tour), Damian Malnar (lead singer of the pop band Lost Stars) and Violette LaVelle. Plus 2 DJs – Swiss DJ Fenox and Ukrainian DJ Depdramez. It’s definitely been a group effort, and I am so grateful for all of my collaborations.

20. WE KNOW YOU WRITE AND SHOOT VIDEOS ALL AROUND THE WORLD – WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SO FAR?

“RIP” is probably the most creative video I’ve made to date – displaying the “death of the old me” and my own funeral (but I don’t die). It was intended to symbolize my sobriety and the birth of this new chapter of my life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6J08E5jhpSA

21. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

Exercise, yoga, workout at the gym with my best bud Dalton Ray (who is a fitness expert and a rising country singer in Nashville), travel the world, hang out with my friends, dance, and when at home – hang out with my sassy Himalayan cat.

22. CAN YOU TELL US ANY FUN OR FUNNY MOMENTS THAT HAPPEN IN THE RECORDING STUDIO?

I love to dance to the records as I write them, so you will usually see me goofing off to the beat.

23. WHAT WAS YOUR PRIZED POSSESSION IN HIGH SCHOOL?

Probably my wardrobe – Abercrombie and Fitch was cool – and my CD collection! (I’m dating myself now haha) I had a huge CD collection!

24. BEST COMPLIMENT YOU COULD GET:

That someone likes my music – someone wrote to me on Instagram this week that they loved my album – and told me their favorite songs – it was really rewarding to get unsolicited feedback like that.

25. COULD YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT SOME OF THE PROJECTS YOU ARE WORKING ON?

Several DJs are going to release songs with me as the featured singer this year: including Swedish DJ Foldes with the song “Breakdown” on Metanoia label out 2/26/21, Russian producer Nexeri on the song “Without You I Feel Good” (co-written with PollyAnna who wrote Paris Hilton’s new song “I Blame You”) coming out on Soave Records also on 2/26/21 and Swedish DJ John Dahlback recreated my song “Forget U’ coming out on Hardewell’s label Revealed on 3/19/21. I’ve been working on music videos in Miami with Russian award-winning cinematographer Dmitry Zhitov and will be releasing a video for “Sink or Swim” and “Forget You” off my album with him. The videos for “Can You Tell Me?” and “Say You Hate Me” were filmed in Nashville by Guys With Cameras. “Can You Tell Me?” is out now and “Say You Hate Me” will be out soon!

You can keep up with Davis’ thriving career on his IGYouTubeTwitter and Spotify.
