Music

Mar 11, 2016

As we anticipate the start of festival season, we expect our playlists to keep filling up with bigger names. This week, we were #blessed with a pop gem from Fifth Harmony, a smooth song from Gallant, a 90s grunge-inspired track from Mitski, a third single from ZAYN and a haunting new single from Bat For Lashes.

Listen below for your new favorite tracks.

Fifth Harmony
“Work From Home”
Everyone’s favorite girl group Fifth Harmony just released a sultry pop song with smooth R&B undertones. Let this song encourage you to take a faux sick day and “work from home.”

Gallant
“Bourbon”
With his silky, smooth vocals, Gallant’s glimmering R&B vocals have made him one to watch this year. “Bourbon” is another piece of pure musical magic that reminds us of Blood Orange.

Mitski
“Your Best American Girl”
Mitski is back with arguably her best lo-fi pop hit yet. “Your Best American Girl” shows Mitski standing on her own more than ever, and unwilling to conform to anyone else’s expectations.

ZAYN
“Like I Would”
The gospel-inspired verses on the former One Directioner’s latest song add another dimension to the soulful pop song. Expect to hear “Like I Would” everywhere you go from now on.

Bat For Lashes
“In God’s House”
Natasha Khan is back with a dramatically haunting track from her forthcoming record. It’s basically a wedding song full of gorgeous cries.
