VIDEO PREMIERE: HANDSOME GHOST STUNS IN ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
Jan 5, 2017
There’s nothing more gorgeous than an acoustic folk track paired with performance art, and Handsome Ghost delivers — with aerial dancers in tow. Led by singer-songwriter Tim Noyes, the band recently teamed up with Kingspoke in Maine to film this out-of-the-box live acoustic video of their single “Eyes Wide”. You can seethe band performing in a large warehouse with an audience and aerial hoop dancers above them. It’s a multi-faceted video that shows off the band’s talent for mixing melancholy music with additional artistic expression and direction.
Handsome Ghost is led by Bronx English high school teacher turned indie-pop songwriter Noyes, whose demo “Blood Stutter” took off after the band’s Steps EP was released in 2015. Most recently, Handsome Ghost released their EP The Brilliant Glow back in September and supported Melanie Martinez on tour.
