Singing around a campfire never really gets old. New York-based quartet Mainland are bringing fall vibes of courtesy of a cover from the lovely Feist. With a gorgeous combination of joy, sorrow, post-punk and pop, Mainland know how to make you feel. Led by Jordan Topf, the band, comprised of Corey Mullee, Alex Pitta and Joey Sulkowski, released their Girls Unknown EP in 2013 and followed soon after in 2014 with their second EP Shiner—produced by Jim Eno of Spoon. Their brand of vintage pop songwriting and production speaks to unity—the guys have created an anthem for everyone. Pairing melancholy tales of New York City with pop ethos, Mainland’s music is something really special.

You may have even caught the band opening for The Colourist, Drowners, Strange Talk and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Most recently, the band has come off a massive tour with Atlas Genius, and they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Mainland’s debut album Night Trials is due via 300 Entertainment in 2016.
