GUCCI X UNSKILLED WORKER COLLABORATION

We are obsessed with the Gucci x Unskilled Worker collaboration. Discovering British artist Helen Downie a.k.a Unskilled Worker through Instagram and inviting her to participate at Gucci’s No Longer / Not Yet show in October 2015 in Shanghai’s Minsheng Art Museum, Creative director Alessandro Michele and Unskilled Worker have since created a stronger bond, which is now to be expressed in this collaboration.

The ready to wear collection of 40 exclusive pieces will consist of shoes bags silks and accessories featuring the artwork by Unskilled Worker in her signature expressive style. The images are a combination of portraits and floral designs and have a witty, playful spirit that perfectly complements the whimsical paintings by the British artist on Gucci silhouettes.
