Marta Pozzan’s Art Party
Mar 2, 2015

Every week, art critic Marta Pozzan reports from her favorite gallery show… with her new wardrobe crushes thrown in, too. We debut her column in Paris.
(Where else?)
WHERE? Galerie Perrotin – 76 rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris
In the heart of Le Marais, the Galerie Perrotin is one of my very favorite in Paris and a must-go-to gallery if you haven’t been. And the book store is to die for!
WHEN? Mar 07 – Apr 11, 2015
WHAT? Xavier Veilhan’s Music
Since the 1990’s, the French artist has developed a multi-form approach to sculpture, painting, performance, video and photography, often reinterpreting classical sculptural and architectural elements with the aid of high technology. Some of his main inspirations are pieces of furniture reminiscent of Renaissance which he would turn into statues that recall Donald Judd’s minimalist sculptures. Music is a double exhibition of new works by Xavier Veilhan, simultaneously in the gallery’s New York and Paris locations.
WHO? House of Hollad SS15
Veilhan’s use of solid and monochromatic colors perfectly suit the mood of these purple items from the House of Holland SS15 collection, now available at Net-a-Porter. The collection embodies VEILHAN’s sculptural interventions and installations, combining classical patterns to pop art-inspired and more futurist shapes.
