Easily top 5 on our #boycrush list, Jared Leto is not only smoking hot because he can rock a white tux and golden locks, but because he is a dynamic BAMF. An actor, musician, director, entrepreneur, and basically one of the world’s most unconventional talents, Leto personifies a confident, risk-taking #maverick. So when Italian lifestyle eyewear brand Carrera set out to celebrate their 60th Anniversary by honoring those crazy individuals who choose to go their own way, and brave enough to make it happen, it was only fitting to partner up with our favorite male muse. 

*Ending soon*, Carrera is offering disrupters and innovators from all walks the chance to join Mr. Leto in a creative video project in Los Angeles. Broken down into three categories: Musicians, Athletes, and Visual Artists, those bold, independent, unique minds who inspire others out there – deemed “Mavericks” – can join the casting by uploading a video to the Carrera website here:

One super lucky mav (hopefully one of you) will be invited to join Leto in the Carrera Maverick Collection campaign video while others will get some exposure on Carrera’s social channels, digital media and website + a pair of shades, obvs.

Here’s what Hottie McHottie has to say about all this: “I’ve known of Carrera since I was a kid,” says Leto, “and when I came across the Maverick project I was immediately connected to it as it talks about people that are brave, bold, that take risks, the wild horses, the people that are not afraid to fail, the type of people who have inspired my whole life.” Enter now before casting closes on 4/18!
