Whatever Coach creative director Stuart Vevers is dreaming up, we’re buying. (Case in point: How long do we have to wait for those fall ’15 shearlings to end up in stores?) For now, we’re especially into the brand’s new Tribal Collection, inspired by the pattern-making traditions of the Midwest’s Great Plains. “The beauty and individuality of traditional Native American patterns was the starting point,” says Vevers. “We then thought about the way that cool festival girls dress—it’s so spontaneous, personal, and individual, with a lightness of spirit that defines summer.” The collection includes scarves, sandals, jewelry, bags, and small leather goods, rendered in three bespoke prints. Current favorite: the woven bags, which were practically destined to end up on the coolest girls at Coachella.
