SAINT LAURENT X COLETTE TAKEOVER

Style

Nov 27, 2017

French fashion house Saint Laurent is taking over famed French department store Colette beginning today through 12.20.17. Unfortunately it’s also the last — Colette is set to close in December, after 20 years as the number one fashion shop stop in Paris.

Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello has dreamed up a series of collectible collaborative items and an exclusive collection of Saint Laurent pieces just in time for you to start dropping really unsubtle hints about what you want for Christmas to all your relatives.

The collection includes everything from a leopard print Arkaic Concept skate board, a customized vintage Polaroid SX-70 camera and a lighter referencing Yves’ Le Smoking, a Patti Smith hoodie, a Bryan Ferry tee, a Travis Scott-curated vinyl compilation, a David Sims-shot calendar, a box of Pierre Marcolini custom chocolates, and the pièce de résistance of the takeover is an all-black version the Vespa with a companion glossy black and fully crystal-embellished Ruby motorcycle helmet.
